Francesca Da Sacco ospite di ChiostroEstate
Come anticipato nel post precedente, dopo l’esibizione del Duo Klavier sarà la volta di Francesca Da Sacco, fumettista e illustratrice che si dedicherà ai bambini, svelando loro i segreti di come si disegnano gli animali!
Disegni a quattro zampe
Animali domestici, da compagnia, selvatici, di fattoria. E anche un famosissimo topo quale Geronimo Stilton, con il suo corredo di amici e comprimari. Sono alcune delle “specializzazioni” della disegnatrice Francesca Da Sacco, che intratterrà i bambini al Chiostro di San Giuliano con schizzi, disegni e segreti del mestiere.
Da dove si parte per disegnare un bel gattone? Prima il muso o il corpo? E l’espressione felice sul muso di un cane che scodinzola, come si ottiene? E il movimento della coda? Sono solo alcune delle domande a cui i bambini potranno avere risposta, senza contare esempi e disegni tratti proprio dal mondo di Geronimo Stilton: anche lui ha bisogno di essere disegnato per bene!
Francesca, oltre ad essere un’appassionata animalista, si interessa di ecologia e può insegnare ai bambini (sempre disegnando) tanti piccoli trucchi utili a comportarsi bene nei confronti del nostro pianeta.
Ai bambini saranno dati materiali come carta e matita, in modo che possano divertirsi mettendo subito in pratica quello che vedranno; e per quelli che si presenteranno con un libro di Geronimo Stilton, tanti omaggi e regali!
Drawings on four paws
Animals who live in houses, in the wild nature, in farms; plus a very famous mouse such as Geronimo Stilton, with all his friends and supporting characters. These are just some of the specialties of artist, Francesca Da Sacco, who will entertain the children at the San Giuliano Cloister with sketches, drawings and tools of the trade.
Where do you start to draw a beautiful big cat? From the muzzle or the body? And how do you get the happy expression on the muzzle of a dog who is wagging his tail? And the movement of the tail? These are some of the questions that will be answered, not to mention examples and panels from the world of Geronimo Stilton: he, like the other animals, needs to be drawn at his best!
Francesca, other than being a passionate animal-lover, also keeps an interest in ecology, and will teach the children (always drawing) many little tricks that can be useful to behave at our best towards our planet.
Children will be given materials such as pencils and paper, so to have fun practising on the moment; and for those who will bring with them a Geronimo Stilton book, plenty of homage and gifts!
FRANCESCA DA SACCO (EdenStudio)
Padovana, diplomata al Liceo Artistico. Comincia a scrivere fumetti nel 2000 per le Edizioni Orione (Fantasy Warriors, Harmoran) e nel 2005 passa all’Associazione Culturale Alex Raymond – Cronaca di Topolinia, per cui lavora a diversi titoli, tra cui la serie in 4 volumi Galaxies (2005-2008) e Gli Scorpioni (2008-2010).
Per altri editori scrive numerosi speciali de L’Insonne e, grazie alla storia breve “Demoni d’amore negato” (pubblicata da DADA Editore) vince, assieme alla sorella Michela, il Premio Albertarelli 2006. Per Star Comics scrive alcune storie di Agenzia Incantesimi (2007), di Jonathan Steele Extra (2008) e Rourke (2009).
Come disegnatrice lavora ad un paio di storie di Agenzia Incantesimi (Star Comics 2007), Sei Ciccia per Gatti, Geronimo Stilton (Piemme), I Disabili Quattro (Cartoon Club 2009), Come salvare il mondo in 200 piccole mosse (Fanucci 2010). Per Cartoon Club realizza anche l’immagine del manifesto ufficiale 2010.
Come autrice completa, esordisce con il volume Bambole di Carne (Edizioni Arcadia 2008), con cui vince il Premio Ayaaak 2009 come Miglior Volume 2008 e viene inserita tra i cinque finalisti del Premio Attilio Micheluzzi 2009 nella categoria Miglior Fumetto e Miglior Disegnatore. Nel 2009, sempre con le Edizioni Arcadia, pubblica AboutDEATH.
Born in Padova, she graduated at the Art School. She starts to write comics in 2000 for the Orione Editions (Fantasy Warriors, Harmoran) and, in 2005, she moved to the Alex Raymond Cultural Association – Chronicle of Topolinia, for which she works on several titles, such as the four-volume series called Galaxies (2005-2008) and Gli Scorpioni (2008-2010).
She writes numerous special issues of L’Insonne for other publishers and, thanks to the short story “Demoni d’amore negato” (published by DADA Editions) won, together with her sister Michela, the Albertarelli Award 2006. She writes as well for Star Comics, some stories of Agenzia Incantesimi (2007), of Jonathan Steele Extra (2008) and Rourke (2009).
As an illustrator, she worked on a couple of stories of Agenzia Incantesimi (Star Comics 2007), Sei Ciccia per Gatti, Geronimo Stilton (Piemme), I Disabili Quattro (Cartoon Club 2009), Come salvare il mondo in 200 piccole mosse (Fanucci 2010). She has also created the image for the official poster of Cartoon Club 2010.
Her debut as a complete author comes with the volume Bambole di Carne (Edizioni Arcadia 2008), with which she won the Ayaaak Award 2009 for Best Book in 2008 and she finished among the five finalists of the Attilio Micheluzzi Award 2009 in the Best Comic and Best Illustrator categories. In 2009, with Arcadia Editions again, she published AboutDEATH.
