Per i più piccoli, arriva la Pimpa!
Ultima serata presso i Musei Comunali di Rimini (via Tonini) con uno dei personaggi più amati di sempre: la Pimpa, che compie 35 anni dalla sua creazione per mano di Altan!
Bianca, con grandi pois rossi e la lingua spesso a penzoloni. In questo breve identikit molti avranno già riconosciuto La Pimpa, la popolare cagnolina creata da Francesco Tullio Altan (ispirato dalla figlia mentre realizzava le sue celebri vignette satiriche) che la iniziò a disegnare nel 1975 per le pagine del Corriere dei Piccoli. 35 anni di Pimpa dunque, celebrati da Cartoon Club con una serata speciale, costruita sugli episodi della prima serie televisiva diretta nel 1982 dall’indimenticabile Osvaldo Cavandoli, con le voci di Roberta Paladini per la Pimpa e di Vittorio di Prima per l’Armando. Altan, oltre alla Pimpa, ha continuato a produrre storie per bambini disegnando anche Kika e Kamillo Kromo. Una curiosità: la musichetta della sigla della trasmissione è di Beppe Crovella, pianista delle celebre band italiana jazz-progressive Arti & Mestieri.
A questa serie è seguita quella del 1997 diretta da Enzo d’Alò e nel 2010 Altan è ritornato al personaggio per dirigere personalmente 26 nuovi episodi di 5 minuti ciascuno della Pimpa per la RAI. Per chi non conosce La Pimpa ricordiamo che vive fuori città, in una bella casetta, in compagnia dell’Armando, un buon uomo che ha trovato la cagnolina in un bosco mentre cercava delle fragole e, resosi conto che la bestiola era in grado di parlare ed era molto simpatica, l’ha portata a casa sua per compagnia, offrendole una bella stanza tutta sua con un lettone e una coperta sgargiante di colori. Nascono così una grande amicizia e un rapporto arricchito dalla presenza di altri personaggi come Coniglietto (anche lui a pallini, ma celesti), la gatta azzurra Rosita, il giallo Colombino, il cane blu Tito ed altri amici, comparsi nelle varie storie, con la creazione di un delicato, divertente e delizioso “bestiario” tutto fantasia, colore ed immaginazione per storie semplici e accattivanti che hanno fatto scintillare gli occhi di tutta una generazione di bambini. Quei bambini oggi diventati grandi che, assieme ai loro pargoli, potranno godere nel rivedere sullo schermo la loro beniamina, impegnata nei viaggi attorno a casa o nei percorsi più impegnativi verso l’Africa in aereo, in Australia in barca e persino con il razzo Egidio verso le stelle. Senza mai dimenticare che a un certo punto bisogna andare a nanna e prima di addormentarsi è bello salutare tutti gli oggetti della sua cameretta e strizzare l’occhio agli spettatori…

White, red-dotted and with her tongue mostly dangling: this essential identikit immediately portrays for the most La Pimpa, the popular female dog created by Francesco Tullio Altan (taking the idea from his daughter, while he was creating his famous satirical sketches). He started drawing her in 1975 on the pages of the magazine for children Il Corriere dei Piccoli. Cartoon Cub is therefore celebrating 35 years of Pimpa with a special evening, based on the episodes of the very first television series directed in 1982 by the unforgettable Osvaldo Cavandoli, with the voices of Roberta Paladini for Pimpa and of Vittorio di Prima for “the Armando”. Altan, besides Pimpa, continued producing stories for children illustrating Kika and Kamillo Kromo, too. Some trivia: the opening jingle of the show is by Beppe Crovella, pianist from the famous Italian jazz-progressive band Arti & Mestieri.
This series was followed by the 1997 season directed by Enzo d’Alò; then, in 2010, Altan returned to his character, directing personally 26 new Pimpa episodes running 5 minutes time, for RAI broadcasting Television. For those who are not acquainted with La Pimpa, we like to remember that she lives in the outskirts of town in a cute little house, together with Armando, a good fellow that has found her in the woods while he was looking for strawberries and realizing that she could speak and was really very nice. Taking her home to share some company, he offered her a nice room of her own with a huge bed and a colourful blanket. A great friendship and a tight relationship come thus to life, enriched by the presence of other characters such as Little Rabbit (Coniglietto, dotted too, but in blue), the blue female cat Rosita, the yellow Colombino, the blue dog Tito and many other friends, appearing in the various episodes and creating a funny, delightful, tender “pet-zoo” made out of fantasy, colours and fancy for simple thought-captivating stories that have brightened generations of children’s looks. Those children, now grown up, will have fun sharing with their own kids their beloved characters once again on screen, busy wandering around her house or in longer journeys to Africa by plane, to Australia by boat and even to the stars on the rocket named Egidio. Without ever forgetting that the time comes to go to bed and before falling asleep, it is nice to bid all the objects in her bedroom goodnight and wink at the audience.

È convinto che i gatti appartengano ad una razza superiore, ma al contempo ha un cuore d’oro e non vuole che accada niente di brutto ai suoi amici umani, a Odie e al suo orsacchiotto di pelouche Pooky. Non sopporta i topi, i ragni e i Lunedí, ma in compenso ha molti “hobbies”, come spaventare il postino o esibirsi in recite notturne dalla cima della recinzione di casa. Il gattone ha una relazione di amore-odio con una micia di nome Arlene, che però non sopporta il suo egocentrismo: Garfield pensa che il mondo intero ruoti intorno a lui ed è sempre pronto a far emergere il suo straripante ego. La sua filosofia di vita potrebbe essere riassunta con una frase: “Io non ho sempre ragione ma non sbaglio mai!”. Tutte queste caratteristiche, unite alla sua cinica ironia, fanno di Garfield un moderno (anti)eroe, un personaggio senza complessi, vicino alla quotidianità.
Garfield spends his days lounging on the sofa and playing with his friend Odie, an ever happy and a bit thick beagle dog. He loves eating pizza and, like most cats, has a free spirit: as a matter of fact, he never answers back when his owner Jon calls him, unless there is a huge dish of lasagne waiting for him. He is firmly convinced that cats belong to a superior species, but nevertheless he has a heart of gold and would never want anything bad to happen to his human friends, to Odie and to his teddy-bear Pooky. He can not stand mice, spiders and Mondays, but on the other hand, he has several “hobbies” such as frightening the postman or performing in night shows from the top of the house fence. The huge cat has a love-and-hate relationship with a female cat named Arlene, that does not tolerate his self-centeredness: Garfield thinks that the whole world spins around him and he is always ready to let his overflowing ego come out. His philosophy of life could be summed up in a phrase: “I’m not always right, but I’m never wrong!”. All these features, together with his cynical irony, turn Garfield in a modern (anti)hero, a character with no problematics at all, very close to everyday life.

Non li si può certo biasimare! Hanno appena lasciato un noiosissimo pianeta nel lontano spazio e sono arrivati in un accogliente… faro (ovvero la casa del piccolo Tommy) con tante novità da scoprire. Immaginate quanto potreste essere emozionati e moltiplicatelo per 1000.
Tommy, terrorizzato da questo incontro ravvicinato del terzo tipo, corre in cima al faro e… cade. Fortunatamente un piccolo alieno verde chiamato Dinko riesce a salvarlo. Nasce così una bella amicizia e il piccolo umano ha un nuovo cucciolo… alieno.
Storie autoconclusive, buffe avventure e coloratissima grafica in 3D sono il mix vincente di questa serie, adattissima per il pubblico dei più piccoli.
Tommy Cadle used to live a quiet life until one day, unexpectedly; five funny aliens break in his house and start messing everything up.
No one could really blame them! They have just left a very boring planet in the faraway space and have landed in a cozy… lighthouse (namely, litte Tommy’s house) with so many new things to discover. Figure how excited you could be and multiply that to one thousand!
Tommy, scared about this close encounter of the third kind, runs up to the top of the lighthouse and… falls down.
Fortunately a small green alien named Dinko saves him. It is the start of a beautiful friendship and the little human has a new… alien pet.

Nel Cosmomondo di Sam Sam non potevano mancare delle fantastiche supereroine, tra cui Super Juliet, una fanciulla graziosissima e molto coraggiosa, che sa sempre come ottenere ciò che desidera.

Following the odd advices of Captain K’nuckles, the curious and enterprising Flapjack will venture to search for the Candied Island and for the “dreams” of the sea surrounding it. The guy will thus live numerous (mis)adventures and will find himself in amusing circumstances. It is going to be, for Flapjack, a real journey from childhood to adult age. Together with his pirate friend and with the whale that brought him up, he will spend most of his time at the Stormalong Harbor… eating candies, the real loot of his quest! During his scouting, he will also meet strange and funny characters, among which Peppermint Larry, the strange owner of The Candy Barrel, Dock Hag, Candy Wife and Eight Armed Willy.
A lot to see with our new friend sailor Flapjack, whose motto is: “If everything goes as planned, it’s not an adventure!”.

Se la vita di un cane da guardia vi sembra facile, seguendo le misteriose, intriganti e mozzafiato avventure di Leone (non per niente) il Cane Fifone, cambierete sicuramente idea. Eventi paranormali, strane e spaventose creature, extraterrestri sono all’ordine del giorno nella fattoria sperduta nei pressi della piccola città di Altrove, dove Leone deve essere sempre pronto a difendere i padroni a cui deve la vita.
Abbandonato appena nato, Leone è stato trovato ai bordi di una strada, sporco e malridotto, dalla buona vecchina Marilù che lo ha accolto nella sua casa e che ora lo ama come se fosse un figlio.
Per questa sua gentilezza, Leone farebbe assolutamente di tutto per proteggerla. È terrorizzato dalla possibilità che possa succederle qualcosa e che lui possa trovarsi nuovamente solo.
Marilù è sposata con Giustino, il contadino che ascolta Jim Morrison, beve soda ed è sempre alle prese con la riparazione del suo furgoncino. La cosa che più lo diverte è spaventare Leone a morte, e gli riesce molto bene vista l’indole da coniglio del nostro protagonista… che però come un eroe di tutto rispetto riporta sempre la pace nella piccola fattoria sperduta chissà dove.

Van Partible si è ispirato, per il nome del suo personaggio, ad un episodio di una famosa serie TV americana, The Brady Bunch. Nell’episodio intitolato “Adios, Johnny Bravo”, Greg Brady (Barry Williams) è costretto a cambiare il suo nome in Johnny Bravo per ottenere un contratto discografico.

Van Partible found his inspiration for the name of the character, from an episode of the American TV series “The Brady Bunch”. In the episode entitled “Adios, Johnny Bravo” Greg Brady (Barry Williams) is forced to change his name to Johnny Bravo to obtain a recording contract.

Mucca e Pollo racconta le grottesche e stravaganti avventure di una surreale coppia di fratelli: il maggiore “Pollo” e la più piccola “Mucca” (di 230 kg). Anche se nati da genitori umani, i due mostrano tratti caratteristici della loro specie.
Pollo, un pollo maschio di undici anni, cerca sempre di primeggiare su tutti, sia su sua sorella Mucca che sui suoi compagni di scuola, Flem e Earl. Il suo caratterino pugnace lo porta spesso nei guai, per fortuna in queste occasioni arriva sempre a risolvere le situazioni la sorellina “Supermucca”.
Come accade spesso tra fratelli, i due piccoli nutrono un sincero affetto l’uno per l’altra, nonostante i litigi e le loro disavventure in un mondo popolato da umani. Mucca ama suo fratello ma non riesce proprio a capire perché lui cerchi di allontanarla da scuola. Pollo vuole sicuramente bene alla sorella ma crede di dover fare il duro quando ci sono i suoi amici in giro, cosa molto difficile quando è soffocato dalle enormi mammelle di Mucca.
La serie creata da David Feiss ha ottenuto nel 1996 una nomination per i Time Emmy Award e, sempre nello stesso anno, ha vinto gli Emmy Award.
Cow and Chicken tells the extravagant and grotesque adventures of an unrealistic pair of siblings: the older one “Chicken” and the younger one “Cow” (weighing 230kg). Even if they were born from human parents, the two bear features of their species.
Chicken, a male chicken aged eleven, always tries to excel over everybody, both with his sister Cow and over his schoolmates, Flem and Earl. His hard-bitten nature often leads him in troubles, luckily in these occasions his little sister “Supercow” strikes in to solve the situation.
As it is often with siblings, the two kids cherish a deep affection, one for the other, despite their fights and their misadventures in a world populated by humans. Cow loves her brother but does not understand why he tries to move her away from school. Chicken surely loves his sister but he believes he must behave roughly when his friends are around, which looks very difficult when he is choked by Cow’s huge udder.
The series created by David Feiss obtained a nomination in 1996 for the Time Emmy Award and in the same year, won the Emmy Award.

Ma così non è e alla fine Mortino troneggerà sulla copertina del depliant dello zoo, anche se…
(Seconda parte) Hans il pulcinella di mare, antico nemico di Skipper, appare all’improvviso e cerca di fare pace. Skipper non si fida, ma gli amici lo convincono che la sua paranoia è ingiustificata. Ma così non è, e Hans, alla prima occasione, si impadronirà della casa dei pinguini. Si svolgerà una battaglia “all’ultimo pesce” tra i due e Skipper vincerà. Quando Hans confesserà di essere lì non tanto per vendicarsi, ma perché è rimasto senza casa, Skipper lo manderà allo zoo di Hoboken, risolvendo il problema e prendendosi la sua vendetta!
(Part 1) Every year, Private is chosen as the cover animal for the zoo brochure, but this year the photographer discovers the adorable Mort. Bada and Bing offer to “get Mort out of the picture”. And when Mort actually does disappear, Private is torn between his desire to be the zoo cover model, and his good heart; especially when he imagines Mort in the form of a ghost trying to haunt him.
(Part 2) Hans the Atlantic Puffin, an old enemy of Skipper, suddenly appears and tries to make things up. Skipper does not trust him, but his friends convince him that it is only an unjustified paranoia. Unfortunately, Skipper was right and at the first opportunity, Hans will take the penguins’ house. There will be a “last fish” battle and Skipper will be the winner. In the end, Hans will confess that he did not come for revenge but just because he was homeless. Skipper will send him to Hoboken zoo, solving the problems and taking his revenge!

In questa terza stagione (“Il libro del fuoco”) il 12enne Aang dovrà accettare la responsabilità di essare l’ultimo Avatar vivente, lo spirito del pianeta manifestato in forma umana, l’unico capace di dominare tutti e quattro gli elementi: acqua, terra, fuoco e aria. Come Avatar, il dovere di Aang è quello di ristabilire la pace tra le quattro nazioni in guerra.
Con i suoi amici, Katara e Sokka, il suo bisonte volante Appa, il suo lemure alato Momo, Aang viaggerà per il mondo cercando di acquistare la completa padronanza di tutti e quattro gli elementi. At the beginning of July, Nickelodeon hosts the third season of the animated US series “Avatar – The legend of Aang”. The series is influenced by an Asiatic style and enriched with martial arts, and the magic of elements. It is about the adventures of Aang, the last Avatar, and his friends, who must save the world from the frightful Fire Nation.
During this third season (Book Three: Fire) the 12 year-old Aang will have to accept the responsibility to be the last living Avatar, the spirit of the planet in human form, the only one capable to control the four elements: water, earth, fire and air. As an Avatar, Aang had the duty to bring back peace among the four nations in war.
Together with his friends, Katara and Sokka, his flying bison Appa, his winged lemur Momo, Aang will travel around the world trying to acquire the complete mastery of all four elements. During his quest he will have to defend himself from the attacks of Zuko, the exiled prince from the Fire Nation.
Aang will have to be the master of the four elements within the beginning of the summer, in order to defeat the oppressive Firelord Ozai. In fact, the return of Sozin’s comet is foreseen just for the summer, and this comet will give, as always in the past, great powers to the evil Dominators of Fire, so that they can win the war. If this should come true, not even the Avatar will be able to restore the balance in the world!

Per festeggiare questi primi 40 anni, Cartoon Club propone due delle sue serie di maggiore successo: Il laboratorio di Dexter e Samurai Jack, grazie alla preziosa collaborazione di Cartoon Network. La pluripremiata serie racconta la storia di un antico guerriero samurai, incaricato di salvare il mondo dal diabolico stregone Aku. Dietro la maschera del guerriero ligio al dovere, l’eroe in kimono nasconde una simpatia e una fragilità del tutto umane. Per debellare il male, Jack dovrà sostenere prove durissime. Un lungo viaggio attraverso la forza delle tradizioni e della cultura dei popoli gli servirà a forgiare il fisico e a imparare i segreti delle arti marziali, ma anche a nutrire lo spirito e a fortificare la mente. Solo quando sarà pronto, potrà affrontare il nemico e sottrarre il suo popolo dalle grinfie dello stregone.
Grande risalto è dato alle musiche che accompagnano Jack nelle sue peregrinazioni. Dal classico al moderno, dall’hip-hop alla techno, i ritmi si susseguono rincorrendo gli occhi furbi ed espressivi del samurai. Tartakovsky, l’autore, per creare il personaggio ha preso spunto dai film di Bruce Lee, da quelli di Kurosawa e dallo sguardo di ghiaccio di Clint Eastwood.
The multi-awarded series tells the story of an old samurai warrior charged to rescue the world from the devilish sorcerer Aku. Behind the mask of the abiding and dutiful warrior, the hero in a kimono conceals an all human popularity and fragility. To overcome evil, Jack will need to go trough very hard endeavours. A long journey through the power of traditions and people’s habits will help him to mould his body, and to learn the secrets of martial arts, as well as to nourish his soul and fortify his mind. By the time he will feel ready, he will face the enemy and will rescue his people from the sorcerer’s clutches.
Great prominence is given to the music accompanying Jack in his wanderings. From classical to modern, from hip-hop to techno, the rhythms follow one another chasing the cunning expressive eyes of the samurai. Tartakovsky, the Author, took inspiration from Bruce Lee’s films to create the character, as well as from the films by Kurosawa and from Clint Eastwood’s freezing glances.

Dexter is a genius. He is mad about physics. Intrigued by ions, he is a supporter of all sciences. From his bedroom, Dexter accesses his huge laboratory devoted to the study of all sciences. Luckily, Dexter’s parents are really good fellows and not so curious. They have not found out yet about the huge scientific system in their house. Dexter’s older sister, Dee Dee, anyway found the entrance and habitually began to innocently and punctually ruin Dexter’s experiments. In his beloved lab, Dexter lives adventures that go beyond his tiny room and defy scientific universally established laws of time and space.
His amazing intelligence, anyway, has not allowed him yet to find the solution to his bigger problem, being it as well the subject on whom Dexter tests his inventions, Dee Dee. Even though their adventures usually begin in Dexter’s lab, their funny deeds bring them even afar – in other dimensions, in outer space and even in the terrible world of the schoolyard.

GENNDY TARTAKOVSKY: DALLA RUSSIA… CON MATITE

Una creatività non comune ha permesso a Genndy Tartakovsky di spiccare il volo nel panorama dell’animazione con tante creazioni caratterizzate da uno stile inconfondibile, dove le sue trovate surreali e spesso demenziali, unite ad una grafica sempre accattivante, hanno attirato i grandi favori del pubblico.
A Tartakovsky, recentemente impiegato da Jon Favreu come “storyboard artist” per Iron Man 2 si devono serial come Il laboratorio di Dexter (apparso nel 1996 e dedicato ad un bimbo di otto anni assai intelligente che opera in un laboratorio tutto suo, costruito di nascosto ad insaputa dei genitori e sempre in contrasto con la sorella Dee Dee, in grado di penetrare nel “regno” di Dexter, nonostante le sofisticate modalità di accesso) e Samurai Jack (2001), oltre alla direzione di animazione e regia di diversi episodi de Le Superchicche, create da Craig McCracken nel 1998.
La sua abilità e il suo spirito autoriale lo hanno portato fino alla corte di George Lucas che lo ha voluto come regista e produttore di numerosi episodi della serie animata Star Wars: Clone Wars. La sua ultima creazione, Korgoth of Barbaria, è del 2006 ma si è fermata solo all’episodio pilota. Tuttavia questo non ha fermato l’autore che sta lavorando ad una nuova serie intitolata Sym-Bionic Titan, mentre si parla sempre più insistentemente di una versione cinematografica dedicata al personaggio di Samurai Jack, il guerriero “spigoloso” che si muove su fondali coloratissimi e che ha colpito l’immaginario degli appassionati dell’animazione grazie ai suoi movimenti efficacemente stilizzati e ai numerosi riferimenti alle pellicole di arti marziali, senza eccedere nella violenza per non incappare nelle strette maglie della censura.
Una carriera in fermento, quella di Tartakowsky, iniziata con Hanna e Barbera e lo show 2 Stupid Dogs: da qui un percorso che si è “solidificato” in realizzazioni di ampio interesse, premiate in più occasioni (ben 13 nomination per gli Emmy Awards e ne ha vinti quattro) e contraddistinte dalla volontà di trovare nuove strade per l’animazione, attraverso una ricetta che da una parte sia ricca di citazioni e riferimenti, artistici e cinematografici, ampiamente riconoscibili dagli appassionati, dall’altra riesca a divertire il pubblico di tutte le età. Così davanti alle proiezioni dei lavori dell’autore si siedono bambine e bambini, papà e mamme, nonni e nonne, per uno spettacolo “globale” che il più delle volte riserva allegre ed imprevedibili sorprese.

An uncommon creativeness has allowed Genndy Tartakovsky to stand out in the animation panorama with numerous creations marked by an unmistakable style where all his surreal ideas, often absurd, are joined to an ever appealing graphics that has punctually met the audience’s approval.
We owe Tartakovsky, recently engaged by Jon Favreau as “storyboard artist” for Iron Man 2 serials like Dexter’s laboratory (first appeared in 1996 and dedicated to a very smart eight-year-old child working in a lab of his own, built up secretly and unknown from his parents, always disputing with his sister Dee Dee, succeeding in getting into Dexter’s “kingdom” despite the sophisticated access mode) and Samurai Jack (2001), besides the animation direction and direction of several episodes of The Powerpuff Girls, created by Craig McCracken in 1998.
His skills and his authorial gift have lead him to the court of George Lucas that wanted him as director and producer of numerous episodes of the animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars. His latest creation, Korgoth of Barbaria, dates 2006 but stopped to its pilot episode. This did not stop the author though, who is now working to a new series titled Sym-Bionic Titan, while it is repeatedly rumoured of a cinematic version of Samurai Jack, the “prickly” warrior moving on colourful backdrops, that stroke the imagery of the animation fans thanks to his moves effectively sketchy and to the several quotes referred to martial arts movies, without ever exceeding in violence to avoid the tight web of the censorship.
An exciting carrier, Tartakovsky’s! Started with Hanna and Barbera, and the show 2 Stupid Dogs: the starting point of a path that shaped itself in works of broad interest, awarded on various occasions (13 nominees for the Emmy Award and won four) and marked by the will to find new paths for animation, through a recipe that on one side would be rich of quotes and credits of wide interests, artistic and cinematic, easily recognizable from fans, and on the other would entertain an audience of all ages.
Boys and girls, dads and moms, grandfathers and grandmothers would sit and watch the author’s works for a “global” show that most of the times would give them cheerful and unexpected surprises.
“La Compagnia dei Celestini” vince il Premio Stefano Gay Taché 2010

Anche per questo motivo, è stata una vera gioia sapere che la serie animata “La Compagnia dei Celestini” ha vinto l’edizione 2010 del Premio Stefano Gay Taché, un riconoscimento importante in quanto attribuito dai bambini e legato a solidi valori di uguaglianza e condivisione. I complimenti di Cartoon Club alla signora Elisabetta Levorato, presidente dell’azienda, e a tutto il suo staff!

Lunedì 17 maggio Elisabetta Levorato, presidente della de Mas & Partners, azienda che da trent’anni lavora sul territorio lombardo e fa parte dell’associazione CartoonLombardia e Cartoon Italia, riceverà dal Comune di Roma il Premio “Stefano Gay Taché”, per la serie televisiva “Street Football”.
Istituito nel 2004 in memoria del bimbo che nel 1982, all’uscita della Sinagoga di Roma fu vittima di una granata di un commando terrorista palestinese, il Premio è tutto dedicato all’infanzia e ai valori dell’eguaglianza, del dialogo e della convivenza. E sono tutti bambini i giudici e i selezionatori dei prodotti in concorso nelle diverse sezioni, tra cui il racconto, l’audiovisivo e il film d’animazione per l’infanzia.
“Street Football” si aggiudica quest’anno il premio per la sezione film d’animazione, confermando l’importanza dei valori trasmessi dalla serie televisiva e l’immediatezza con cui questi raggiungono i bambini: lealtà di gioco, amicizia, solidarietà, accettazione dell’altro.
Dopo il premio Grillo del 2007, per la seconda volta il serial della de Mas viene premiato da una giuria di bambini, segno questo di una perfetta calibrazione del target.
Frutto di una buona collaborazione con i co-produttori francesi di Télé Images Kids, che prosegue dal 2004, grazie a Rai Fiction Cartoon che ha creduto e investito nel progetto, “Street Football” è giunta ormai alla sua terza serie. La messa in onda su Rai 2 coinciderà quest’anno con i Mondiali di calcio.
Il concept è italiano, liberamente tratto dal romanzo di Stefano Benni “La Compagnia dei Celestini”, e narra le vicende di un gruppo di ragazzini che gioca a street football, un gioco simile al calcio con poche regole strutturate sull’ambiente urbano, e inizialmente mal visto dai cittadini e dalle autorità di Banessa, la città dove tutto ha inizio. A mano a mano la squadra dei Celestini convince gli adulti della bontà del loro gioco, e proprio col sostegno degli adulti comincia la sua avventura dei mondiali di street football.
Un girotondo di squadre provenienti da ogni paese del mondo e poi un viaggio continuo verso luoghi diversi, dove i Celestini in trasferta stringono amicizia con i loro avversari. Un unico gioco, nelle sue semplici e forti regole lega ragazzi di colori, lingua e abitudini diverse, trovando nel giovane pubblico, rappresentato oggi dalla giuria del Premio Gay Taché, una ferma condivisione di questo modello di vita.
L’arte con Matì e Dadà
Già dal mese scorso va in onda su Rai Tre, ogni domenica alle 8.15, L’arte con Matì e Dadà, realizzata dallo studio d’animazione Achtoons con sede a Bologna. Si tratta di una serie di taglio educational che accompagna grandi e piccini nel mondo della storia dell’arte, invitandoli in modo simpatico e avvicente a fare la conoscenza di artisti quali Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh, Toulouse Lautrec e tanti altri. La serie è anche stata presentata a Rapallo presso il festival Cartoons on the Bay.
