Just a few meters from the sea, there will be screenings of animated fi lms from all over the world! The short fi lms from the International Section, the latest novelties and the classic series from the channels Cartoon Network and Boomerang, the movies from the Signor Rossi Contest, the Cartoon d’Or (European Oscars of animation cinema) short fi lms, three selections of animation cinema from Poland, Estony and Japan, the most loved characters from the channel Nickelodeon, a tribute to the seventy years of Superman (thanks to the collaboration with the digital channel Boing), two carte blanche by the festivals Sur Le Pas De Mon Oncle (France) and The End of the Pier (United Kingdom), the winners of the Pulcinella Awards from Cartoons on the Bay, previews from the new Monster Allergy series (Rainbow Animation), and a special section with fi lms by Cristina Làstrego and Francesco Testa. Also, on Friday 18th, the prize-giving ceremony of the “Franco Fossati” Award.
